The following 4 items are mandatory in your car when driving on public roads in the Kingdom of Belgium:
- Emergency stop sign
- Fire extinguisher
- Reflective vest
- First aid kit
Every car driver must always carry the following documents:
- Driver’s license and identification card
- Green or white card issued by your insurance company
- Registration certificate issued by the Vehicle Registration Service (DIV)
- Testing certificate issued by the technical inspection
- Certificate of conformity issued by the manufacturer of your car
